West Halmahera Regency
West Halmahera Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Halmahera Barat) is a regency (on Halmahera Island) in North Maluku Province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 2,227.56 km2, and as of the 2010 Census it had a population of 100,424 people.[2] The latest official estimate (as at mid 2018) is 114,956.[3] The capital lies at Jailolo.

The regency is divided into eight districts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and 2010 Census populations, plus official estimates for mid 2018.[4] The table also includes the number of administrative villages (rural desa and urban kelurahan) in each district, and their postal codes.
