History

1992-1998: Kool 106

On April 1, 1992, the station began operations as Kool 106 with the callsign DYET. It was originally owned by the Associated Broadcasting Company (now TV5 Network, Inc.). It carried a hot adult contemporary format from 1992 to 1995 and CHR/Top 40 format from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, Kool 106 Cebu signed off for the last time.

1998-present: Home Radio

In 1998, Aliw Broadcasting Corporation acquired the station and changed its callsign to DYQC. It rebranded as 106dot7 Home Radio and initially carried an easy listening format. In 2007, Home Radio Cebu switched to Top 40.

On March 17, 2014, Home Radio, along with the other provincial stations, reformatted into a mass based format, carrying the slogan "Natural!" as a new format. On Easter Sunday 2015, the station switched back to its Top 40 format mixed with OPM, simply known as CHR Local. On late 2015, the station adopted the slogan "The Music of Now".

On July 2017, Home Radio flipped back to its easy listening format. In 2018, Home Radio's provincial stations started simulcasting DWIZ 882's program Karambola, thus allowing the station to include news and commentaries to the station's format.

In late 2019, the station reduced its broadcast to 18 hours, signing off at 10:00 PM.
