The institute is backed by leading corporates and universities and has an association with International Institute of Real Estate, Investment, and Finance for Real Estate Related Courses as B-School. The institute provides Engineering, Science, Management training programs at various centers in India, Rwanda and various other countries. Management Board is managed by several lawyers and advocates of the state and a few known professionals from other parts of the countries. It has now tied hands with Shobhit University's School of Distance Education.
Private colleges like IIMT no longer require permission of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct MBA and MCA.

It is now a partner Institute of Mata Santoshi Group of Institutions, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh and KBS Institute, Delhi. It has shut down its campus in 2016
