Kurds in the Czech Republic
Kurds in Czech Republic are Kurds living in Czech Republic. The number of Kurds is estimated between 100 and 200 and they come mainly Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq. Most Czech Kurds live in the capital Prague.

The first Kurdish 149 students who were politically active came to former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. Most of them were Kurds from Syria and Iraq. In Czechoslovakia there also lived various prominent Kurdish politicians or artists. After the Velvet Revolution, more Kurds from Turkey arrived.[2][3]
