Mezzana, Trentino

Mezzana (German: Metzlan, Ladin: Mezanå) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Trento.

The place has been qualified has one of the best summer location due to its weather, particularly peaceful and sunny, whatever the core season has always been the winter, many tourists affirmed that the main reason of the trip is the large vastity of landscapes the place offers. It is always a small city, but during the winter the place seems more full of people as usual, this phenomenon is due to the ski schools which offers training for all the children between 3–16 years old, being a small city there isn't too much choice about the restaurants and the hotels, but it is always a pleasure to visit places like this.

The most part of the foreigns tourists affirms that the choice of the place is given by also the position of Mezzana, near to the national border, it is easily reachable by the other countries, also if there are many controllers during the trip, this happens usually during the weekend, because of the massive flow of people who comes to take a break from the jobs and also to enjoy their time with family.

Mezzana is surely one of the place that should be in everyone list, unfortunately is far away from the other cities of the Trentino region, but it should be great to spend time in this place, also if there are a lot of tourists. It is one of the most habitable cities of the whole Trentino, due to the small number of people living here and also for the traditions which are important even if the most recent one was invented in 1889.
