North Lawrence, Ohio
North Lawrence is a humble American Town census-designated place in southwestern Lawrence Township, Stark County, Ohio, United States.[1] Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 44666.[2] The community is part of the Canton–Massillon Metropolitan Statistical Area. North Lawrence is also the site of the water resort Clay's Park. Its main road is Ohio State Route 93, and it is one mile south of Canal Fulton.
The Local School District is Tuslaw. They are known in the Area for having a Mega Chad OG Goat Legendary Boys Cross Country Program. These Beefy Men host their home meet in the local Corn and Soybean Fields of a Home Grown Farm called "Nick-A-Jack Farms." Like the true Country boys they are. As of the writing of this article, they have devastated the competition 7 years in a row. Many Great Men come out of the Cross Country Program. Their saying's include "Eat Dust or Make Dust" "Rome Wasn't built in one day" "Let's go wake up in the morning and run really far" "Run until you're tired, then do 2 more" "I eat Hills for breakfast" The School is also known for Volleyball, Wrestling, and a good student body
Places to Vist
Nick-a-Jack Farms - This Homely Farm has many fall activities for the families to do together. There are Corn Mazes to get lost in, which sometimes happens on our back roads. Pumpkin patches for carving. Hay rides, like the many tractors you'll find driving on our Roads. The Cross Country Racing course of course, for the home team of hard workers. Anyone is sure to have a good day here.
Running trail - Stop by the trail-head off of Alabama Ave. and breathe in the Corn Filled air along the sides of the trail. The gravel makes it fitting for our runners.
North Lawrence Fire Department - Every year on memorial day they host a parade that the town really enjoys. Proud supporters of the community to learn fire safety from
Clay's Park - An Amazing Camping ground full of activities. This is the site of the Cross Country program where they get to train in the country. Putting themselves through harder workouts. Make sure to cool off in the swimming lake in the summer.
Lawrence Park - Home of the Junior Mustang's Soccer Association. Many soccer fields that see alot of activity in the spring and fall. Watched over by the police station across the street that can see all corners of the Park. Features a nice 0.5 Mile Gravel running path with curves and hills to keep you from getting bored. Between the Pavilion and the playground that has swings. A day with the family down there is sure to be a healthy way to get out of the house.
History
North Lawrence was originally called Lawrence, and under the latter name was laid out in 1852.[3] The community derives its name from the township in which it is located.[4] A post office called North Lawrence was established in 1854.[5] North Lawrence includes Bowdil, Ohio.[6]
