Toponymy

The village has previously been known as Verin Gyodak’lu, Verin Gyodaklu, Yukhari Gedaklyu and Verin Gedaklu.

Population

The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 91 in 2010,[3] down from 120 at the 2001 census.[4]
