Wabeeneeye

Wabeeneeye (Somali: Wabeeneeye, Arabic: وب) is a sub clan of the Majeerteen clan family and within the larger Harti clan and thereafter in the Darod.Waabaneeye members inhabit the western and northern portions of the Bari region in Somalia, primarily in and around the cities of Bander Ziyada (Qaw), Bursalah and Bander Qasim (Bosaso). They also inhabit communities in the Nugaal and Mudug regions. In addition, there is a significant Wabeeneeye community in the southern port city Kismayo, and this clan is also well represented in the Somali diaspora doing business in places such as Dubai, Durban, Mombasa, and Nairobi.
