That year, Lipa was also featured on "Bridge over Troubled Water" as part of Artists for Grenfell, while her debut studio album, Dua Lipa, was released in June 2017.[1] The record spawned "New Rules" (2017), which was successful and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart.[2] The chart-topping singles "IDGAF" and "One Kiss" with Scottish producer Calvin Harris followed in 2018. The latter became the Lipa's second top 40 hit in the US, reaching number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It was later certified triple platinum in the country. Other singles from Lipa's debut album included "Last Dance", "Lost in Your Light" featuring American singer Miguel", and "Homesick" which features uncredited vocals from Chris Martin. In 2018, "Electricity" was released in collaboration with British-American duo Silk City. It reached a peak position of number four in the UK, and peaked at number 62 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Along with all of Lipa's other single releases, the song appeared on a reissue of her debut album titled Dua Lipa: Complete Edition, which was released on 19 October 2018.

March 2020 saw the release of Lipa's second studio album, Future Nostalgia. It was preceded by the UK top-five singles "Don't Start Now" and "Physical". The former also became Lipa's highest-charting single in the US where it reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. "Break My Heart" was released as the third single and peaked at number 6 in the UK and 13 on the US charts. On 10 July 2020, "Hallucinate" was released as the fourth single. It peaked at number 39 in the UK. A remix for "Levitating" featuring DaBaby was released as the fifth single from the album on 1 October 2020. So far, it has peaked at number 5 on the UK charts and number 5 on the US charts, making it her second top five hit in the latter country.
