Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya

The show opens with Saptami Puja at Aneja Villa in Gurdaspur for Maa Durga where all family members are ready to begin the aarti except for Damini who's still getting ready hearing this Alok gets angry as because of her Maa Durga's Puja is being delayed and when he questions her she gets angry at him and says that this is not the way to either talk to her or enter her room and taunts him that now he is not able to shout at her so he will vent his frustration on others and states him that as others are waiting for her so now Maa Durga will also wait for her till she comes down and starts the Puja. On the other hand everyone comes to know that Dev's health is not well so Alok asks Kishore to call the Doctor till then Damini comes and says she had ordered Kishore not to call the Doctor because for such an mentally ill boy she will neither waste her time nor will break her rules as no one is allowed to come into Dev's room except Kishore.Thereby in Kiratpur village Durga is seen worshipped Goddess Durga at a temple and singing hymns for her.Later Advocate Batra arrives sees that according to Damini's order instead of performing Avinash and Aarti's funeral ceremony they had been performing a Puja then he reads late Avinash's will to Amrish and Damini stating that after his and his wife Aarti's death the entire property belongs to Dev and if anything happens to Dev the property will be automatically given to Charity and leaves saying that after a month he will return to complete all official formalities with Dev hearing this both are shocked.Alok lights a diya in the remembrance of his dead brother Avinash Damini blows it of which Alok thinks that all this happening in his family is because of his one mistake of marrying Damini after she brainwashed him, as he still loves whole heartedly his first wife Sakshi and misses her.Damini plans with Amrish to make Dev mentally unstable so that they can attain the property and gives a shock treatment to Dev as Alok and Tara questions Damini she stops them into entering Dev's room and says that Dev is mentally ill and to treat him it is necessary to give him shock therapy and takes Tara's to her room separately and tries to make her understand that everyday she happily states that this her family and lovingly roams around the house stating that Samarth, Aayush and Dev are her elder brother's but in reality Samarth and Aayush are her step brother neither her own and nor his cousin brother Dev is capable to do something for her and when she will not be with her then God knows what will happen to her so it's better that she bees selfish and snatch her rights to which Tara firmly says that she doesn't want others rights and places,she is happy as she is and she doesn't believe in own or step relations and believes,loves and treats them as their own. On the other hand Guruji tells Durga's future that she will be married in a rich family and she will come to rescue her husband from all his trials of Damini and Amrish. At night someone meeting Dev for the last time had left the door open and so Dev unknowingly went out of the house to which everyone in the family gets tensed for him, further Damini and Amrish are angry as they can lose the property to the Charity hence Damini started questioning in anger each family member as she thinks one of them had purposely left the door open so that Dev rans away.Elsewhere Dev roams happily in a park, Durga with his father Shailendra and Sunny comes to Gurdaspur to perform Jagratas and pay the debt of his father unknowingly. Amrish hires goons to find Dev but they fail to catch him thereby Damini calls the media and puts up an act infront of them of fake concern for Dev which was unliked by Alok,Ketki, Aayush and Tara thereby Durga performs a Jagrata at Gurdaspur and prays to Goddess Durga to make her meet her life partner.

While Damini forcefully stops Alok and Aayush for filing a missing complaint in Police Station for Dev further unknowingly Durga saves Dev from the goons but later Amrish's goon find Dev then Damini and Amrish bring him back to home glad to see Dev safe Tara, Alok, Aayush, Kishore Ketki and Kabir are relieved. Meanwhile Damini again tortures Dev as she notices Durga's paintings drawn by Dev and asks who is she and who was the one who opened the door for him to escape seeing Dev in pain Alok, Aayush, Kishore and Tara are terrified and in love of Dev, Kishore reveals that he left the door opened to which Damini throws him out of the house though Alok, Tara, Aayush, Kabir and Ketki tried to stop her while leaving Kishore met them and Alok gave him some cash and he just insisted him to make him meet Dev for the last time and then left the house. Then Kishore came back to his hometown Kiratpur and met Purohit ji and saw Durga in the temple and told them about Dev painting her face hearing this Durga and Purohit ji are glad while Damini brings Dev out of his room and asks him to roam freely in the house from now seeing this Alok, Samarth, Ketki and Aayush are shocked from her changed behaviour and believes she is planning something to which she reveals that she has decided to marry Dev to which Alok, Ketki, Aayush and Tara are tensed as who is the girl and why Damini doing all this while Neetu is anxious about who is the girl who is ready to marry Dev who is mentally ill and Damini will not be getting a daughter in law like her further she sees Alok and Ketki and asks them who is the girl and they must be knowing to which Alok is annoyed and leaves from there and Ketki states that she only knows that Damini has given her the responsibility for the decoration of the party and she is not interested in anything else and if she is really interested then she can ask from Damini cause she only knows who is the girl.

Further Damini reveals that Dev is getting married to Geetu, daughter of her friend Neetu in the party while hearing this Alok, Adv.Batra, Ketki Aayush and Tara are not happy and tensed, Ketki laughs at the class,appearance and no etiquettes of Geetu and her mother Meetu stating that Damini's choice is amazing firstly Neetu and now Geetu and Meetu in the house and Neetu too laughs seeing Geetu as the bride to be of Aneja family has no dressing sense. Later secretly Advocate Batra and Alok hiding from Damini came out of the party and had a conversation about the girl Geetu who is about to get married to Dev under the instructions of Damini as Advocate Batra questions Alok as why they getting Dev married to her as she is not a perfect bride for Dev to which Alok firmly states that he and the entire family knows that she is not a perfect bride for Dev but they just helpless and reveals to Advocate Batra that he too very well knows what the Aneja family has gone through in past 12 years after the ouster of Samarth and Aayush's mother Sakshi he and the family was in a terrible state, he even doesn't know how Damini entered in his life and then how she brainwashed him to agree for a second marriage with her but after she entered in the Aneja Villa and in the lives of there family everything changed rapidly and then he realised that slowly-slowly she took everything in her hands the power, the property, the authority and also there lives in her control and each and every member of the family is just either ignoring her or handling her actions till the day our family is free from her. Then Alok asks that all her plans are connected to Avinash's will and he wants to know what is in the will is Dev and the property safe from Damini to which Advocate Batra states that Dev and the property is safe until Dev is not married with a wrong girl cause in the will Avinash has written that 75% of the property is of Dev and if he is died the property will be transferred to her would be bride and now they have to stop this marriage. Alok is tensed thinking about the will and how shall he save Dev and the property then he gets a call from Kishore regarding Durga the girl whom Dev paints and she is the perfect match for Dev listening this Alok hatches a plan to take Dev to Durga's village Kiratpur with the help of Aayush and Tara he steals the room keys of Dev from Damini and takes him to Kiratpur along to meet Durga while Durga is tensed about how will she stop her marriage with Sunny as Goddess Durga has made her match with Dev. Later she stops her engagement with Sunny and leaves to meet Dev in the temple herewhile, Damini is angry seeing Alok and Dev not in the house. Aayush and Tara deliberately tries Damini to know nothing about the whereabouts of Alok and Dev and so they act infront of her that they don't know where Alok and Dev went. Meanwhile after reaching Kiratpur Alok and Dev reach at the temple to meet Kishore and Durga further Alok calls an angry Damini and gives an excuse to her that Dev is with him and they have gone to the Kuldevi temple as Purohit ji told to get Dev the blessings of Maa Durga and then cuts the call so Damini doesn't comes to know about there actual whereabouts. As Alok and Dev reach the temple they couldn't find Kishore and so Alok goes to find Kishore. In the meanwhile Durga also comes to the temple and there for the first time Dev and Durga meet each other meanwhile Alok, Kishore, Purohit ji, Durga's parents and Sunny's parents arrive at the temple where Alok introduces Dev to everyone and asks Durga's hand for Dev as Shailendra was hesitant to marry Durga to a rich guy but further agrees and starts the preparations for Dev and Durga's marriage. On the other hand Damini is adamant to marry Dev with Geetu and is suspicious about Alok and Dev's whereabouts an so rushes with Amrish to find Alok and Dev
