The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has tested single buses from time to time, usually on loan from the manufacturer.

Made in Brazil by Vlvo with Marcopolo and Caio bodies. Nicknamed Speedybuses by New York City residents. They returned to Curitiba after few days in New York City.[1]
