Balkan cuisine

Balkan cuisine is a type of Mediterranean cuisine that combines European characteristics with some of those from Western Asia. It is found in the Balkan Peninsula of Southeast Europe. Its components typically come from the traditional cuisines of Greece, Persia, the Arab countries, Serbia and Turkey.[1] The Balkan area contains a number of more specific cuisines, including:
