Carcans (French pronunciation: [kaʁkɑ̃]; Occitan: Carcan, [kaɾˈka]), also known as Carcans-Maubuisson ([mobɥisɔ̃]), is a commune in the Gironde department, in the administrative region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France.
