List of political parties in Cuba
Cuba is a single-party state. The Communist Party of Cuba (Spanish: Partido Comunista de Cuba, PCC) is the only party legally allowed to exist and hold effective power.[1]

As a result, political rallies by opposition parties occur only sporadically on the island.[2] In general, except for the PCC, the other parties receive funds and support from organizations based in Miami, and connected to the anti-Communist organizations and agencies of the U.S. government, like USAID or through the American embassy in Havana. Their militants are few, and they are frequently part of several parties.
Cuban law also stipulates that it is punishable to receive funds from a foreign government for purposes of a political organization.[3]
