Sintang Regency
Sintang Regency (Chinese: 新当) is a regency of West Kalimantan province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 21,638.2 km2, and had a population of 364,759 at the 2010 Census[2] and 395,890 at the 2015 Census; the latest official estimate (for mid 2019) is 418,785.[3] The principal town lies at Sintang.

Climate
Sintang, the seat of the regency has a tropical rainforest climate (Af) with heavy to very heavy rainfall year-round.

Baning Nature Tourist Park
The park is a tropical nature forest located in the city center, the only one in Indonesia which was announced in 1999.[6]
