They Can't Stop the Spring
"They Can't Stop the Spring" is a song by Irish band Dervish. On 16 February 2007, on The Late Late Show, it was chosen as the song Dervish would sing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki. It was written by John Waters and Tommy Moran. The song qualified directly for the Eurovision final (owing to Ireland's tenth placing in the 2006 event), but came last in the final[1] receiving only five points from Albania (backup jury).
