At Eurovision

Armenia automatically qualified to the grand final, because it was on the top 10 last year. In the final, Hayko performed second last following Turkey and preceding the Moldova he finished in 8th place with 138 points it can be noted that while Armenia finished one point above Greece in 2006, they this time finished one point below them. With changes to the format of the competition coming into effect for 2008, Armenia would have to compete in one of two semi-finals for qualification into the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. As Armenia was not the winner of the 2007 Contest and was not a member of the Big Four, other results in the previous contest no longer pre-qualified nations to the final of the forthcoming contest.
