Chremslach

Chremslach (singular chremsl or khremzl, Yiddish: כרעמזל, plural כרעמזלעך), also khremzlekh, is a Jewish food eaten on Passover.[1] Chremslach are small thick pancakes or fritters made of potato or matzah meal.[2][3][4]

Similar dishes, or even the same, have different names. Balkan Jews call their version bimuelos.[4]
