She was last seen near the Trinity Islands (56.5500°N 154.3333°W / 56.5500; -154.3333 (Trinity Islands)) by the sealing schooner Herman ( United States), with which she was hunting. Herman reported her lost at San Francisco, California, on 26 September.[76]
