Nick Jr. (Southeast Asian TV channel)

Nick Jr. is a Southeast Asian cable TV channel aimed at younger children, operated by ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA and owned by ViacomCBS Networks International. On 20 December 2010, Nick Jr. was launched in New Zealand on Sky TV, almost 4 months before its official launch in Asia.

History

Nick Jr. along with MTVNHD was launched in New Zealand on 20 December 2010 and in Asia on 16 May 2011. It was promoted on Nickelodeon. The channel is available on StarHub TV in Singapore, Hypp.TV and Astro in Malaysia, SKY TV in New Zealand, SkyCable and Cablelink in the Philippines, and on myTV SUPER, Now TV and Cable TV Hong Kong in Hong Kong. MTV Asia has broadcast to New Zealand before Nick Jr. Nickelodeon South East Asia previously broadcast to New Zealand from 2000 to 2006. Also available in Nick Jr. high definition in Southeast Asia and selected regions.
