MTV Hits (European TV channel)

History

On 31 July 2015, the channel replaced MTV Hits in Italia.

On 17 November 2015, a French version of the channel was launched and the European version stops broadcasting in France, Switzerland and Belgium. This version replaced the French versions of MTV Base, MTV Pulse and MTV Idol.

On 17 January 2017, it was removed from Monaco Telecom.

On 1 October 2017, MTV Hits, MTV Dance and MTV Rocks ceased broadcasting in Benelux.[2]

On 3 October 2017, the channel replaced VIVA in Hungary.

On 2 May 2020, it was removed from Sky Italia.

On 5 August 2020, the channel replaced MTV Hits in Latin America.

On 1 February 2021, the channel replaced MTV Brand New in the Netherlands.[3]
