Star Utsav

Star Utsav is an Indian general entertainment channel that primarily broadcasts Hindi-language programming.[1] It was launched as a Free-to-air channel on 7 June 2004 but was later turned into a Pay channel on 16 August 2015.[2] It is distributed worldwide by Star India,[3] The Walt Disney Company India. Star Utsav is the most watched channel across all genres with TRP of 1,162,101 impressions during 4 week ratings in January 2021.[4]

In July 2016 Star Utsav was launched in the UK.[5] However, on 4 January 2018, it was shut down there due to poor ratings.[6] Star Plus announce Star Plus Dophar it shows old serial from the star network. Star Utsav generally re-runs off aired shows mainly of Star Plus and also of Star's other Hindi GEC. Acquired hindi shows of some other network's channels and few hindi dubbed shows of Star's regional channels and non Indian languages' channels are also ran in Star Utsav.
