1938 Wyoming gubernatorial election
The Wyoming gubernatorial special election of 1938 took place on November 8, 1938. The incumbent governor Leslie A. Miller won the Democratic primary, but was defeated by Nels H. Smith who had returned after a failed campaign in the previous election with 59.81% of the vote.
