1966 Wyoming gubernatorial election

The Wyoming gubernatorial election of 1966 took place on November 8, 1966. Incumbent Republican Clifford Hansen declined to run for a second term as Governor of Wyoming in order to run for the U.S. Senate. Republican former Goshen County Prosecuting Attorney Stanley Hathaway defeated Democratic attorney Ernest Wilkerson for the open seat.
