List of countries by potato production

This is a list of countries by potato production in 2016, based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database.[1] The total world production for potatoes in 2016 was 376,826,967 metric tonnes. China was by far the largest producer, accounting for 26.3% of world production. Dependent territories are shown in italics. Total production in 2019 was 423 mln tonnes. [2]
