Masareal

Masareal or masa real is a Filipino delicacy made from a mixture of finely-ground boiled peanuts, sugar or syrup (latik), and water. It is dried and cut into rectangular bars. It is traditionally sold wrapped in paper and tied with twine. It originates from Mandaue, Cebu. The name is Spanish and literally translates to "royal dough".[1][2][3][4][5][6]
