Yio Chu Kang Single Member Constituency
Yio Chu Kang Single Member Constituency is a single member constituency in the north-eastern area, Singapore. The constituency currently consists of Ang Mo Kio (Blks 119–128, 201–204, 209–214, 221–235 and 601-650) and Lentor Estate/Far Horizon Gardens. The incumbent Member of Parliament is Yip Hon Weng.

History
Yio Chu Kang SMC has been repeatedly carved out and reabsorbed into Ang Mo Kio GRC since its formation during the 1980 general election. In the 1991 general election, it was merged into Ang Mo Kio GRC and again separated during the 2006 general election, only to be re-absorbed in the 2011 general election. It was carved out again for the 2020 general election.
The People's Action Party Yip Hon Weng defeated Progress Singapore Party Kayla Low with a vote count of 60.83% Vs 39.17% and became MP for Yio Chu Kang SMC in 2020.
Yio Chu Kang SMC with Ang Mo Kio GRC & Kebun Baru SMC are under the same town council, Ang Mo Kio Town Council.
