Woudstra won her first prize money (30 gulden) at a speed skating competition on 3 January 1928 in Scharsterbrug.[2] She won many skating competitions in January, February and March of the year 1929, winning prices in 28 competitions in Friesland, Groningen, Overijssel (Kampen) and North Holland (Enkhuizen). Those months she won 2000 gulden in money, jewelry and other prizes. For her achievements she received a huldeblijk signed by 48 inhabitants.[3] She continued with skating. In 1933 she won the second prize at the national speed skating competition in Kampen.[4] In 1941 she won the Alvemarretocht over 100 km, but the prize was not awarded due to a false start.

Many prices, pictures and other items of Woudstra are kept in the Fries Scheepvaart Museum. It also shows that she featured with a January cartoon on a calendar depicting 1929.[5]
