Geography
This location is situated at the junction of the Ipswich - Rosewood Road and the Ebenezer Road, 42 km (26 mi) from the Brisbane CBD. It is within the County of Churchill.
History
The origin of the name is from an Aboriginal word meaning flying squirrel gully.[2]
In the 2016 census Jeebropilly had a population of 7 people.[1]
Economy
New Hope Corporation Ltd has restarted mining coal at its Jeebropilly coal mine, which it had previously closed in 2007.[3]
