List of Oceanian under-20 records in athletics

Oceanian junior records in the sport of athletics are ratified by the Oceania Athletics Association (OAA). Athletics records comprise the best performance of an athlete before the year of their 20th birthday. Technically, in all under 20 age divisions, the age is calculated "on December 31 of the year of competition"[1] to avoid age group switching during a competitive season.

  2. The OAA lists 300 m for men as an event where an "Oceania Best Performance" may be ratified; however, it has the status of "Not Claimed".
  3. The OAA lists 10 km (road race) for men as an Oceania U20 record event, but no record has been ratified.
  4. The official OAA source lists Forsyth’s 2.36 m on 2 March 1997 as the record, but this is clearly a mistake, as Forsyth was 23 years old at the time.
