A list of urban parks by size includes urban parks at least 404.7 hectares (1,000 acres) or 4 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi) and contained entirely within a locality's municipal or metropolitan boundary.

Chugach State Park is the world's largest urban park situated entirely within its locality's metropolitan area.

The following list includes the largest urban parks located entirely within a metropolitan area. Park systems are also included, although are not factored in the list's ranking, as park systems are networks that contain a number of urban parks within their system.
