1989 Burlington mayoral election
The 1989 Burlington mayoral election was held March 3, 1989. Progressive-coalition affiliated, Independent candidate Peter Clavelle won his first non-consecutive term with 56.11% of the popular vote against Democratic candidate Nancy Chioffi.
