Mount Rascal is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Mount Rascal had a population of 462 people.[1]

Geography

The locality is 12 kilometres (7 mi) from the Toowoomba central business district.

The mountain Mount Rascal is in the west of the locality (27.594°S 152.619°E / -27.594; 152.619 (Mount Marrow (Queensland))) with a peak of 734 metres (2,408 ft).[3]

History

The locality is named after a which was named by the Minister for Lands in April 1969.[4]

Education

There are no schools in Mount Rascal. The nearest primary schools are in Drayton and Vale View. The nearest secondary schools are in Harristown and Centenary Heights.[5]
