Owner David Abel was quoted by Pennline.com as saying: "No persons will be discriminated against; however, we ask people to respect that we have core tenets in our faith and our beliefs and we cannot participate in any event that would be in contradiction to those core tenets - one of them being marriage, which has been biblically based for thousands of years as being between a man and a woman.”[3]
Move to Lancaster County
The Star Barn was dismantled beginning in October 2015 and then moved to a site in Lancaster County where it is being reassembled and preserved at the Ironestone Ranch in Elizabethtown.[4][5]
