California's 31st State Senate district is one of 40 California State Senate districts. It is currently represented by Democrat Richard Roth of Riverside.

District profile

The district encompasses urbanized and suburban parts of the Inland Empire in northwestern Riverside County. It forms an arc stretching from Corona in the west to Perris in the southeast, centered on the city of Riverside.

Other levels of government

The 30th Senate District has nested within it both the 60th Assembly District, represented by Democrat Sabrina Cervantes; and the 61st Assembly District, represented by Democrat Jose Medina.[3]

In the United States House of Representatives, the 30th Senate District is split between the California's 41st congressional district, represented by Democrat Mark Takano;[4] and California's 42nd congressional district, represented by Republican Ken Calvert.[5]
