History
Lancer incorporated as a village on September 11, 1913.[5]
Demographics
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Village of Lancer recorded a population of 69 living in 32 of its 35 total private dwellings, a 11.6% change from its 2011 population of 61. With a land area of 1.33 km2 (0.51 sq mi), it had a population density of 51.9/km2 (134.4/sq mi) in 2016.[8]
In the 2011 Census of Population, the Village of Lancer recorded a population of 61, a -6.2% change from its 2006 population of 65. With a land area of 1.33 km2 (0.51 sq mi), it had a population density of 45.9/km2 (118.8/sq mi) in 2011.[9]
