This is a list of fictional countries from published works of fiction (books, films, television series, games, etc.). Fictional works describe all the countries in the following list as located somewhere on the surface of the Earth as we know it – as opposed to underground, inside the planet, on another world, or during a different "age" of the planet with a different physical geography.

Originally the country in this comedy was intended to be Thailand's real life neighbor Laos and involving its national team but Laotian diplomats saw the trailer and felt that the film's depiction of the team might be seen as offensive by Laotians and could trigger anti-Thai violence in Laos.[1] The film's release was delayed so it could re-edited and re-shot to replace Laos with the fictional country "Arvee".
