The barangay's total land area is 66 hectares (160 acres).[3] According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 676.[1]

Guintaboan celebrates its annual fiesta on 15 January in honor of their patron saint.

Location

Located on the eastern peninsula of the municipality, Guintaboan is bounded to the north, by Juagdan, to the south by Cuya, and to the east and west by Bohol Sea. Guintaboan is 18 km (11 mi) from the town center, Poblacion.
