In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Clayton No. 333 recorded a population of 592 living in 252 of its 305 total private dwellings, a -11.5% change from its 2011 population of 669. With a land area of 1,401.57 km2 (541.15 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.1/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Clayton No. 333 recorded a population of 669, a -11.2% change from its 2006 population of 753. With a land area of 1,401.69 km2 (541.20 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km2 (1.2/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The RM of Clayton No. 333 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Duane Hicks while its administrator is Rhonda Bellefeuille.[3] The RM's office is located in Hyas.[3]
