Rural Municipality of Insinger No. 275

The Rural Municipality of Insinger No. 275 (2016 population: 315) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 9 and SARM Division No. 4. It is located in the east-central portion of the province.

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Insinger No. 275 recorded a population of 315 living in 147 of its 196 total private dwellings, a -3.1% change from its 2011 population of 325. With a land area of 849.38 km2 (327.95 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.0/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Insinger No. 275 recorded a population of 325, a -12.9% change from its 2006 population of 373. With a land area of 849.38 km2 (327.95 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.0/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The RM of Insinger No. 275 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Willy Zuchkan while its administrator is Sonya Butuk.[3] The RM's office is located in Insinger.[3]
