In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Milden No. 286 recorded a population of 327 living in 97 of its 114 total private dwellings, a 15.5% change from its 2011 population of 283. With a land area of 735.29 km2 (283.90 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.2/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Milden No. 286 recorded a population of 283, a 31.6% change from its 2006 population of 215. With a land area of 735.29 km2 (283.90 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (1.0/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The RM of Milden No. 286 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Wednesday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Grant Thomson while its administrator is Denise Ward.[3] The RM's office is located in Milden.[3]
