List of power stations in New Hampshire

This is a list of electricity-generating power stations in the U.S. state of New Hampshire, sorted by type and name. In 2019, New Hampshire had a total summer capacity of 4,497 MW through all of its power plants, and a net generation of 18,027 GWh.[2] New Hampshire's electrical energy generation mix in August 2020 was 57% nuclear, 27% natural gas, 8% hydroelectric and 8% other renewables.

Sources of New Hampshire electricity generation: August 2020 [1]

  Natural Gas (27%)
  Hydroelectric (8%)
  Other Renewables (8%)
  Nuclear (57%)

During 2019, New Hampshire had two of the three coal power plants, and one of two nuclear power plants operating in New England. Renewables sources generated 17% of all electrical energy from New Hampshire. Wind generated more electricity than coal for the first time in 2016, while most renewable generation came from biomass and hydroelectric sources.[1]
