Visa policy of Togo

Visitors to Togo must obtain a visa on arrival to Togo unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. Alternatively, they may obtain a visa from one of the Togolese diplomatic missions. All passports must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 1 year upon arrival at Togo.[1]

Visa exemption

Citizens of the following countries can visit Togo without a visa:[2][3]

1 - information from the Togo Embassy in the United Kingdom that is not found in the IATA database.

Visa exemption also applies to holders of diplomatic and service passports of China (including passports for public affairs) and Morocco.

Visa exemption agreements for all passports were signed with  Central African Republic on 29 July 2018[5] and  Saint Kitts and Nevis on 24 March 2019[6] and are yet to enter into force.

Visa exemption agreements for diplomatic and service passports were signed with  Brazil on 23 November 2018,[7]  Qatar on 30 April 2018,[8]  Gabon on 25 September 2018[9] and they are yet to enter into force.

Visa on arrival

Nationals of all countries can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 7 days, if they hold a return or onward ticket. Extension of stay is possible for an additional 90 days.
